There is no analytics package on this site, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, no session recorder, no chat widget and no newsletter form. Nothing is written to cookies, to local storage or to session storage, which is why you have never been asked to consent to anything here.

There are no accounts, no logins and no comments, so there is nothing about a reader for this site to hold in the first place.

Like any site, this one is served by a web host, and a host keeps ordinary server records such as the address a request came from and the page it asked for. Those records belong to the hosting provider and exist for delivery and security rather than for any use by this site.

Product links lead to Amazon, and photographs are served from Unsplash. Following a link or loading a page means your browser makes a request to those companies, and what they record is governed by their own policies rather than by this one.

Nothing about you is passed to them by this site, because this site has nothing about you to pass.

If this ever changes, the change will be described on this page before anything is added to the site. Adding a tracker quietly and updating a policy afterwards is the practice this page exists to avoid.
